Here, DLC corresponds to the ODVA-DLC interface, a waterproof interface with an embedded duplex LC connector; OD refers to the ODVA standard, meaning the interface has a sturdy sealed housing with excellent outdoor environmental resistance, achieving dustproof and waterproof effects.

• DLC/OD*2

Indicates the patch cord is dual-core designed, suitable for bidirectional transmission of optical signal transmission and reception. Its core transmission component consists of two sets of matching DLC interface assemblies, meeting duplex communication requirements.

• SM

Abbreviation for Single-mode, compatible with single-mode fiber, supporting long-distance, high-speed optical signal transmission, and adapting to common single-mode communication wavelengths such as 1310nm and 1550nm.

• 5.0

Refers to the outer diameter of the cable being 5.0mm. This diameter balances mechanical strength and wiring flexibility. The outer sheath is mostly made of wear-resistant, UV-resistant PE or TPU material, and the interior usually contains water-blocking aramid yarn to enhance tensile strength and water-blocking capabilities.
