   The series is the industry's first router optimized specifically for IP/MPLS and VPN services, offering a full range of chassis models to adapt to diverse scenarios. It includes the 1-slot SR-1, 4-slot SR-4, 7-slot SR-7, 12-slot SR-12, as well as the subsequent SR-e series (SR-1e, SR-2e, SR-3e) and more. With a system capacity scalable from 20G to 400G and a maximum capacity of up to 9.6 Tb/s, it supports multiple port configurations such as 36×100GE and 60×40GE.

• Superior Service Processing Performance: Equipped with proprietary programmable network processor array technology, each line card is fitted with dual 10G network processor arrays. It maintains wire-speed 10G forwarding even with thousands of ACLs, tens of thousands of MPLS VPNs, and complex QoS processing enabled simultaneously, delivering high efficiency in multi-service concurrent scenarios.
• Leading-edge QoS & Multi-protocol Support: It supports hierarchical QoS scheduling technology, with each line card accommodating up to 32,000 queues to achieve ATM-grade strict QoS assurance. The router is also compatible with multiple protocols including IPv4/IPv6, MPLS, and VPLS, meeting the complex service deployment needs of carriers.
• High Reliability Design: Boasting a fully redundant hardware architecture and line card redundancy mechanism, it incorporates exclusive "hitless service" and "hitless routing" technologies. Combined with MPLS Fast Reroute (FRR) technology, it achieves sub-50ms failover recovery. In addition, the SR-e series complies with NEBS standards, making it suitable for harsh equipment room environments.
• Flexible Scalability & Easy O&M: The modular structure supports hot-swapping of service line cards. New functions can be added via software upgrades without hardware replacement. It comes with a rich set of O&M tools such as Service Ping and LSP Trace, and supports SNMP protocol integration with mainstream network management platforms, facilitating troubleshooting and status monitoring.

• Carrier Network Core & Edge Deployment: It serves as the core switching node in carrier metro Ethernet networks, undertaking the aggregation and forwarding of services such as Internet access, Virtual Leased Line (VLL), and BGP/MPLS VPN.
