This product inherits the core technical advantages of the FSIH series BBU and features flexible configuration capabilities. It supports two configuration combinations to meet diverse network requirements: 8-path mode paired with 9×20MHz channels, and 2-path mode paired with 12×20MHz channels. This flexibility enables targeted network optimization based on user density and network load in different areas, maximizing resource utilization and network efficiency.

In terms of data transmission, it is equipped with 2 GE electrical ports and 2 GE optical ports. The optical port rate can reach up to 24×6G or 6×6G + 9×9.8G, fully satisfying the high-speed data transmission demands of LTE networks. This robust transmission capability ensures seamless handling of bandwidth-intensive services such as high-definition video streaming and large-file downloads.

For synchronization performance, the unit supports integrated GPS and 1588v2 synchronization technologies. Precise clock synchronization across multiple base stations is critical for TDD-LTE networks, as it maintains signal stability, prevents data transmission delays or disruptions, and ensures the alignment of uplink and downlink time slots—all essential for the reliable operation of TDD-LTE systems.

II. Physical & Compatibility Characteristics

Adopting a 2.5U rack design, the unit’s width is compatible with 19-inch standard racks. This standardized design facilitates integrated installation with other base station equipment in data centers, reducing deployment complexity and enhancing space utilization. Based on general physical parameters of the FSIH product family, it is estimated to have dimensions of approximately 448×111×360mm, a weight of around 15kg, and a volume of about 18 liters. Its compact structure is well-suited for dense equipment layouts in indoor data centers, adapting to space-constrained environments.

In terms of compatibility, this model seamlessly integrates with related components of Nokia Flexi series base stations, such as Remote Radio Units (RRUs). It can be incorporated into existing Flexi base station systems without requiring major overhauls to the overall network architecture. This compatibility not only lowers the cost and complexity of network construction and upgrades but also ensures the stability and consistency of the entire network ecosystem.
