3HE07297AA is the Nokia XMA high‑density interface module, 40‑port 10GE SFP+ IPCore variant designed to be installed inside the XCM carrier module for the Nokia 7950 XRS extensible core routing system. It delivers high‑density 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity for IP peering, aggregation, data center interconnect and core router service interfaces.

It will not function in a chassis populated with standard SFM X20 cards. Widely used by carriers for IP transit, peering and data center border routing.
