About Nokia 7750 SR‑s Series
The 7750 SR‑s family represents Nokia’s next‑generation, high‑capacity routing platform built on advanced FP4 and FP5 forwarding silicon. While the SR‑OS software CLI maintains full backward compatibility with legacy Nokia routing systems, the SR‑s hardware features a fully redesigned mechanical architecture. All SR‑s series hardware is completely non‑interchangeable with SR‑a, SR‑e, SR‑12 and SR‑12e legacy hardware. Notably, the SR‑7s and SR‑14s chassis support mixed deployment of FP4 and FP5 line cards inside a single chassis, providing flexible performance upgrades for existing core networks.
