Émetteurs-récepteurs SFP+

Le module SFP+ (Enhanced Small Form-factor Pluggable) est une version améliorée du module SFP prenant en charge des débits de données jusqu'à 16 Gbit/s. Le SFP+ est compatible avec les protocoles Fibre Channel 8 Gbit/s, Ethernet 10 Gigabit et la norme OTU2 (Optical Transport Network). C'est un format largement répandu dans l'industrie et pris en charge par de nombreux fournisseurs de composants réseau. Bien que la norme SFP+ ne mentionne pas explicitement le Fibre Channel à 16 Gbit/s, il peut être utilisé à cette vitesse.
